THIS JUST IN: 2024 IS OFF TO A CRAZY START!

A new book...and a new movie (based on an old book)

From the Department of Trying & Failing & Trying Again:

On April 9th, I’ll publish “Truth Is the Arrow, Mercy Is the Bow: A DIY Manual for the Construction of Stories,” which Richard Russo calls “one of the best books on writing I’ve ever read, and the funniest by a country mile.”

I’ll be touring in support of the book, reading and teaching like crazy.

I’ll be traveling to Seattle & to Portland for events, as well as good old Boston.

I’m teaching a whole bunch of online classes, too. Details here »

Oh, and sometimes I troll Fox News hosts like Laura Ingraham…

My 2007 novel, “Which Brings Me to You,” co-written with Julianna Baggott, is now a (sexy! funny!) major motion picture starring Lucy Hale & Nat Wolff.

A new edition of book in paperback is out, too.
